Veronica Marie Pérez has a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies with a minor in Japanese from Kennesaw State University (KSU). She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Professional Writing (MAPW) at KSU.

Veronica plans to pursue a career in editing and publishing once she earns her MAPW. She takes great pride in working with marginalized writers in order to bring attention to their stories.

In her spare time, Veronica enjoys crocheting, singing, and putting the stories in her mind on paper for others to enjoy and learn from.

    • Instructed Japanese expatriates and their spouses to assist in their advancement of English language abilities and their acculturation process in the United States

    • Confirmed in the role of MC for the Japanese Speech Contest, organized by the Japan America Society of Georgia and hosted at Kennesaw State University

    • Maintained efficient event flow, introducing speakers and their topics in Japanese

    • Invited by Dr. Mizuki Mazzotta to conduct presentation from JBusiness Forum for students of JPN 232: Language Usage in Japanese Society

    • Course aims to establish culturally competent global citizens through discussion of intercultural communication, specifically concerning Japanese communication

    • Represented Kennesaw State University at JBusiness Forum 2022, hosted by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte

    • Conducted presentation about TOTO USA internship with respect to overarching theme, “Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace”
